Site work for an educational facility in Arcadia, California. Completed plans call for site work for a 12,672-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; and educational facility.
The work consists of portable placement and site work at Longley Way Elementary School, Hugo Reid Elementary School, and Highland Oaks Elementary School as per the specifications outlined in Bid No. 320:25-26. The General contractor must ensure that all subcontractors meet all requirements and certifications of the specifications at the time of bid. All bids must be made on forms furnished by the District and must be responsive to the contract documents. A mandatory job walk and pre-bid conference will be held at Highland Oaks Elementary School. Contractors and subcontractors are required to pay not less than the general prevailing rate per diem wages for each craft or type of workman needed to execute the contract. Certified payroll is required for this project. A B Contractor’s License is required. Contractors must be registered with DIR to bid on public works projects. The District has a participation goal of 3 percent for DVBE requirements. No bidder may withdraw the bid for a period of sixty days after the date set for the opening bids.
