Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hermann, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of March 4, 2026 the project has been awarded. Roadway and stormwater improvements to Schiller Street from 1st Street to 5th Street, Bayer Road from Hwy H to 13th Terrace, 13th Street and intersection with Market Street, 11th Street from Washington Street to the Park, and Sand Plant Road. Sealed bids must be submitted to the specified address by the designated deadline. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form included in the Bidding Documents and the envelope must state "Hermann 2025-2026 Streets Project." Each bidder must include a bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. The prevailing hourly wage rates as determined by the Industrial Commission of Missouri must be complied with, and not less than the prevailing hourly rates shall be paid to all workmen on the contract. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 90 days after the opening date. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Question Deadline 01/30/2026 Bidders requiring interpretation or clarification of any conflict, ambiguity, discrepancy, or error which they may discover upon examination of the Bidding Documents or of the site and local conditions shall make a written request for interpretation to the Engineer. All written requests pertaining to questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents received less than ten (10) consecutive calendar days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
