Upgrades and repairs to the North Dike and related infrastructure at the former East Sullivan Mine Site located 6 km east of the city of Val d'Or, in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. TIMELINE: The owner is currently requesting proposals from engineering professional consulting firms for the preparation of the project design and construction work monitoring. Reference number: 20118100. Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2026-02-09. Electronic proposal submission is accepted via SEAO, with a document. Expected duration of the contract without options (in months): 25. The former restored mining site of East Sullivan is located 6 km east of the town of Val d'Or, in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Among the infrastructure in place on the site, there is a 200-hectare mining tailings park surrounded by dikes. Rehabilitation work on the north dike is required and involves significant corrective work (dismantling and/or upgrading) on the CR1 and CR7 control chambers located in the northern sector of the tailings pond.
