Scope of Work: Site Survey & Assessment: The contractor shall conduct a field conditions verification survey along all identified Midtown corridors. Survey services include verification of existing decorative streetlight poles suitable for banner installation, assessment of pole condition, structural integrity, and visibility, verification of pole identification numbers, evaluation of potential obstructions such as trees, signage, traffic signals, review of banner design template and technical specifications, verification of required hardware installations, replacements, or upgrades. The contractor must provide a map and inventory with photos detailing pole locations, number of eligible poles, and installation feasibility. Design Coordination & Template Support: The contractor shall provide design coordination support to ensure banner artwork is compatible with fabrication and installation requirements. This includes reviewing final artwork files for accuracy, dimensions, bleed, seams, folds, and double-sided alignment, coordinating with District staff and selected artists to resolve layout or formatting issues prior to production, and confirming banner dimensions and mounting requirements before fabrication. Installation Services: The contractor shall furnish and install all necessary hardware and banners at approved locations. This includes procurement and installation of banner arms and mounting hardware as required, installation of banners along approved Midtown corridors, ensuring proper tensioning, alignment, and aesthetic presentation, compliance with safety standards and installation specifications, and installation coordination with METRO along Main Street. Deliverables: The contractor shall provide a site conditions survey map and inventory identifying viable pole locations, a final pole count and recommended installation sites, coordination of vendor proofs and fabrication approvals, fully installed banners at approved locations, and a final installation report including completion dates and photographic documentation.
