Sealed bids are requested for furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to complete the Walton-Verona Elementary School Upgrades at 15066 Porter Road, Verona, Kentucky 41092. Bidders must deposit with their bids security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Bidding and Contract Documents. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in accordance with the Bidding and Contract Documents. Bidders may obtain bidding documents with a deposit and view or purchase them at locations listed in the Supplementary Instructions to Bidders. No bidding documents will be mailed or packaged for pickup. All sub-bidders may view or purchase documents from ARC. All instructions and requirements for bidding, including bond and deposit requirements, are detailed in the Bidding and Contract Documents and the Supplementary Instructions to Bidders. WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Work of this Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Architectural: Scope includes, but not limited to, ceiling tile replacements, restroom renovations, courtyard foundation repairs, and new roofing. 2. Plumbing: Scope includes, but not limited to, plumbing fixture replacements and associated domestic water and sanitary piping in select building areas. 3. Mechanical: Scope includes, but not limited to, new packaged rooftop equipment with a VAV system serving classrooms with individual thermostatic control via electric reheat coils. New ductwork and controls will be provided to connect into existing systems. Restrooms will be ventilated and all systems designed for compliance with the 2015 International Mechanical Code, ASHRAE 90.1-2010 and ASHRAE 62.1. 4. Electrical: Scope includes, but not limited to, new lighting and controls in the Kindergarten and Gymnasium areas of the building to comply with current ASHRAE energy codes. New power connections are to be provided to supplement HVAC replacement. New infrastructure and equipment for classroom technology throughout the building.
