Site work, remodeling, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Toronto, Ontario. Design plans call for the addition of a 19,234-square-foot, two-story above grade, 60-bed municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; for the remodel of a elderly care / assisted living facility; and for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Conversion of (interior renovations) and 2-storey addition atop an existing nursing home to accommodate a women's municipal shelter with 60 beds. Once complete, the building will be a total of 4 storeys in height. The project includes net-zero building retrofits, building envelope upgrades, barrier-free renovations, and associated building code and life safety improvements. TIMELINE: Preliminary designs re underway. Owner is awaiting rezoning approvals from the city of Toronto. Pending approvals, construction is currently scheduled to begin sometime in 2027 Further update summer 2026.
