Separate sealed bids will be received by the Wayne County Board of Supervisors for the construction of a County Multi-Purpose Arena, Phase 1 to be located within the Meadowlands Commerce Park in Wayne County. Bids will be opened in public and read aloud. The Plan drawings, Specifications, and Contract documents are available online via the website of the Engineer of Record. Hard copy proposals must be directed to the Wayne County Board of Supervisors with the envelope marked accordingly and with the contractor's certificate of responsibility number on the outside. Online bids must be submitted, accepted, and opened as instructed in the contract documents. The award, if made, will be to the lowest and best qualified bidder. The Board reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. Total contract time is 120 calendar days. All bidders are notified that minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against. Certified Check or Bid Bond for five percent (5%) of total bid payable to Wayne County must accompany each proposal. Any proposal accompanied by a letter qualifying the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered irregular and not considered for award.
