All final questions concerning the contract documents and the work contained therein must be submitted in writing to Donovan Lee through email at dlee@brooklinema.gov by February 6th, 2026. Bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid payable to the Town of Brookline is required. The bid security shall not be enclosed with the proposal but shall be delivered separately to the office of the Department of Public Works, attached to the outside of the bid proposal envelope. The successful bidder shall furnish guarantee bonds in the form of a performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount equal to 100% of the bid, from a surety company satisfactory to the Town. Minimum wage rates have been fixed by the Massachusetts Department of Labor and Industries and shall be in conformance with Sec- tion 26 through Section 27G of Chapter 149 of the Massachusetts General Laws. The work under this Contract consists of furnishing all necessary labor and materials required for the repair of Waldstein playground tennis courts. This contract covers the repair and restriping of the Waldstein tennis courts. The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: - Repair cracks in bituminous concrete pavement - Install color surfacing system and playing lines - Courts 1-7 Infill Color Blue with White tennis lines - Courts 1-4 USTA 10U/Quick start lines (Yellow) - Courts 5-7 Pickleball lines (2 per court) (Yellow) All work shall be completed in accordance with the project specifications and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the project.
