As of April 10, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on April 21, 2026. The project consists of the construction of a new 750,000 GPD water production facility at the existing Craft Road Elevated Water Storage Tank location. This work includes the installation of all necessary piping, treatment equipment and housing, concrete, electrical improvements, and appurtenant work required to make the new water production facility functional as detailed in the contract documents and technical specifications. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked as “Craft Road Water Production Facility” and bear the date the bid is to be opened. Bids must include a Bidder’s Bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to operate in the State of Mississippi, in the amount of 5% of the total bid price, to guarantee contract execution and required bonding if the bid is accepted. The successful bidder will be required to execute a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract, issued by a qualified Surety Company. Each bidder must have a Certificate of Responsibility for public projects exceeding $50,000 or private projects exceeding $100,000, and this certificate number and expiration date must appear on the envelope. No bidder may withdraw a bid for 60 days after opening without owner's consent. The City of Olive Branch reserves the right to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, with or without cause, and to accept the lowest bid judged to be in the city's best interest. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to Engineer in writing. Replies will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the Purchasing Manager as having received the Bidding Documents. Question Deadline 03/02/2026
