Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rensselaer, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

The work consists of pavement removal, patching with full depth HMA, milling, asphalt paving, sidewalk and curb ramp replacement, curb replacement, restoration, and all other work necessary to repair existing pavement as indicated in the Contract Documents. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on bid forms contained in the Contract Documents. All contractors and subcontractors listed in each bid must be properly licensed in the City of Rensselaer as a condition of being awarded the project. No bidder may withdraw their proposal for a period of 60 days following the date set for receiving bids. The City of Rensselaer reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than 60 days and said bids shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The City of Rensselaer further reserves the right to waive informalities and to award the contract to any bidder all to the advantage of the City of Rensselaer or to reject any and all bids. Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Rensselaer in an amount equal to 5 percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price shall be required. Standard Indiana Form 96 which includes non-collusion affidavit is required. E-Verify Affidavit is required.
