Louisville Water Company is requesting bids for the supply and installation of approximately 400 linear feet of 6-inch and 545 linear feet of 8-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main using traditional trench installation techniques. The project also includes the supply and installation of 3 fire hydrants and 29 customer services, removal of fire hydrants, main cut and plugs, and restoration on and along the project limits. The contractor must supply and install all materials required for the completion of this project. Bids will only be accepted from bidders who are Louisville Water Small Business Equity (SBE) Program participants and have been pre-qualified by the company in the applicable pre-qualification categories. A bid bond is required. Bid documents, except for the Bid Table, may be obtained from Lynn Imaging or www.lwckyplanroom.com. Sealed bids must be submitted using the designated web-based portal. All recipients of the bid documents must sign a planholder sheet confirming receipt. The company reserves the right to reject bids from non-prequalified or non-SBE participants, to disqualify defective or non-responsive bids, to waive immaterial defects, and to reject any or all bids not deemed in the company's best interest.
