A roadway project is planned for 2026 construction on Hwy 75 from the intersection with Main Street to Veterans Drive in Luverne. In addition to improving the pavement, roadway safety improvements will be made at the intersection with Main Street and pedestrian safety improvements will be made throughout the project. Summary of work: Reconstruct roadway for a significant, long-term pavement fix Three-lane configuration to remain the same, which currently includes bike lanes and center left turn lanes. City of Luverne to replace utilities in coordination with the project. Add designated left turn lanes, wider turning radius, and new traffic signal system at the intersection with Main Street.
