The work period begins on April 1 of each year. The Contract may be renewed for two (2) additional periods of 12 months each under the same conditions as the initial term. Each renewal option is exercised at the sole discretion of the PUBLIC BODY. The work to be performed requires landscaping skills, expertise with perennials, shrubs, trees, and lawns, as well as the installation and repair of various types of hard and granular surfaces. The Contractor must perform the following tasks, among others: - Supply and planting of vegetation; - Preparation of planting areas; - Spreading substrates and mulch; - Supplying and installing sod or hydroseeding; - Aerating soil; - Installing root barrier membranes; - Installing inert materials (river pebbles, Japanese stepping stones, stone dust, etc.); - Installation of concrete slabs and concrete blocks; - Excavation and leveling; - Drain installation; - Asphalt paving of less than 30 m2.
