The following is a description of the improvements These improvements include the removal and replacement of existing sidewalk and curb sections, removal and replacement of existing driveway aprons, and restoration of parkway along the following routes within the Village of Schaumburg: Holmes Way, Meribel Ct, Odlum Dr, Sierra Pass Dr, Camel Bend Ct, Glen Leven Ct, Hunterdon Ct, Maidstone Ct, Fallbrook Ct, Debbie Ln, Heatherwood Dr, Heatherwood Ct, Sheffield Dr; as illustrated within the 2026 CDBG Sidewalk Project Location map. This work shall consist of constructing a Portland Cement Concrete Driveway at the thickness of concrete pavement specified on a granular subbase in accordance with Section 423 and 440 of the Standard Specifications, applicable articles of Section 420 of the Standard Specifications and as specified herein. The driveway shall be constructed of Class PV concrete. Work to also include all costs associated with placement of an aggregate sub-base, fine grading and sub grade preparation for the placement of concrete, steel bar, the expansion joint filler, joint construction, protective coat material and placement, proper finish, and all other labor, materials, and equipment necessary to properly construct this item in accordance with the plans and specifications. This work consists of the grading, cutting and filling of earth material at various locations within the project limits for the installation of the sidewalk, correcting grading issues or other improvements as indicated on the approved plans and cross sections. Question Submission Deadline January 30, 2026, 12:00pm The Village of Schaumburg, IL will accept sealed bids via the Village's e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov for the 2026 CDBG Annual Sidewalk Program. Bids must be received no later than the specified deadline. Bids submitted after the specified time will not be accepted. The bid process is a sealed bid process with both bids and pricing sealed.
