Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Bismarck, North Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of the construction of two parking lots with a combined parking space count of approximately 30 spaces. Activities include site demolition, site grading, and site paving as indicated and specified in the contract documents. Bidders should submit bids in duplicate and enclose them in a sealed opaque envelope with the necessary information as required by the Supplementary Instructions to Bidders. Each bid must also be accompanied by a separate sealed opaque envelope containing a Bidder's bond made payable to United Tribes Technical College, executed by the Bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in North Dakota, in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the Bidder's total highest bid combination, including all add alternates. The bond must guarantee that if the proposal is accepted and the contract awarded, the bidder will, within ten days, execute a contract and provide a contractor's bond as required. The AIA Document A310, Bid Bond, should be used for the bid guarantee. Each contractor submitting a bid must include a copy of their North Dakota Contractor's License or certificate of renewal issued by the Secretary of State in the bid bond envelope, must be licensed for the highest amount of the total bid combination, and the license must have been in effect at least ten days prior to bid opening. Bids not complying with these provisions regarding bonds and licenses will be returned immediately. Bidders on this work are also required to comply with applicable federal regulations, including Equal Employment Opportunity (E.O. 11246, as amended), Copeland "Anti-Kickback" Act, Davis-Bacon Act, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, Rights to Inventions Made Under a Contract or Agreement, Clean Air Act, Federal Water Pollution Control Act, Byrd Anti-Lobbying Amendment, and Debarment and Suspension provisions.
