Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Toronto, Ontario. Design plans call for the construction of a 51,634-square-foot, five-story above grade medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
Construction of a 5-storey (including mechanical penthouse) rehabilitation treatment for first responders affected by work-related stress or trauma, including post-traumatic stress injury (PTSI). The new facility will focus on providing rehabilitative services including assessment, intensive outpatient therapy, and aftercare, while housing recreation programs and facilities that encourage health and recovery. The facility will be located in proximity of the existing hospital located at 625 Runnymede Road. TIMELINE: Conceptual planning and designs are underway. Owner is awaiting Ministry of Health approvals. Name of the facility has yet to be finalized. Request for Qualifications (RFQ) has yet to be released by Infrastructure Ontario. Contract execution is currently targeted January to March 2027; timeline is subject to change. Further update summer 2026. *Facility has been estimated at approx. 200 million.
