Reference Number 0000312478 A Request for Qualified Suppliers (RFQS) is a method of supply used by Manitoba Hydro to procure goods and services as and when needed. This RFQS establishes a two-stage procurement process. The first stage is the identification of Qualified Suppliers for specified categories of goods and/or services and the award of a Framework Agreement to each. A Framework Agreement is not a contract for the provision of goods and/or services. It sets out the process by which the contract will be created and the contract terms and conditions that will apply. The second stage of the procurement occurs as and when Manitoba Hydro requires goods and/or services. Manitoba Hydro will issue a request to Qualified Suppliers and those interested may submit a proposal. After evaluating proposals, Manitoba Hydro may issue a Service Release Order (SRO) which is a contract for the provision of goods and/or services. Manitoba Hydro is seeking to prequalify suppliers for the following service categories ("Service Categories"): (a) Service Category 1 - Concrete Repair (b) Service Category 2 - Grout Injection (c) Service Category 3 - Pre-construction Consultation A detailed description of the services that a supplier may provide in any given Service Category under a Framework Agreement are set out in Schedule D - List of Service Categories to the draft Framework Agreement.
