Defence Construction Canada is inviting contractors and suppliers to apply to be placed on an Open Construction Source List for commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, and civil work required by the Department of National Defence in Nunavut, including sites in Iqaluit, Rankin Inlet, Alert, and North Warning System sites. The OCSL will be used to tender construction services with an estimated value of $10 million and below. Contractors and suppliers must submit a request through the MERX posting and indicate their preferred official language. Those previously on the OCSL must re-apply for the new period. Bidders must be registered on the OCSL to respond to tender calls, and legal business names must match records. DCC may require additional pre-qualification for specific tenders and may set aside tenders for Indigenous businesses. Contracts may include performance standards, security requirements, and are subject to DCC’s Procurement Code of Conduct. Submissions must be online through MERX; faxed, mailed, or emailed submissions are not accepted. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
