The Firethorn Community Development District requests proposals from firms to provide 132 solar street lighting packages, which include poles, fixtures, solar panels, embedded controls, and photometrics, for streets within the Firethorn community. Proposals are sought from suppliers able to manufacture, deliver, and install the street lights, which will be installed in phases. Proposers must hold all required local, state, and federal licenses in good standing and be authorized to do business in Manatee County and the State of Florida. Proposals must include pricing, information on the quality of the street lights, engineering specifications and certifications, distributor, manufacturer, and installer information, delivery schedule, insurance, warranty details, and any other relevant information the proposer wishes considered. The District reserves the right to make changes to the project manual and will only notify those who have requested it. Proposals will be evaluated based on pricing, quality, delivery schedule, and any other criteria deemed relevant by the District's Board of Supervisors, who will use their sole discretion and act in the District's best interests. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, make modifications to the work, award the contract in whole or in part, provide for phased delivery, and waive minor or technical irregularities in any proposal.
