Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Work includes trimming and protection of trees which are not indicated to be removed but interfere with or are in close proximity to new construction. Sealed bids will be received for the Athletic Field Improvements at Swimming River School, 220 Hance Avenue, Tinton Falls, NJ. All bidders must use and complete all bid forms and comply with every requirement in the instructions and specifications. Bids must be marked in a sealed envelope with the project name. Bidders are to submit a Lump Sum Bid for all work and materials. Drawings, specifications, and other contract documents may be examined or obtained from Edwards Engineering Group. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, treasurer's check, or bid bond of not less than 10% of the Base Bid (not to exceed $20,000), along with a certificate from a surety company stating it will provide a bond as required. Bidders and prime subcontractors must be prequalified with the NJ Schools Development Authority and comply with New Jersey state laws on prequalification, prevailing wage rates, use of domestic materials, and disclosure of corporate/partnership ownership for those with 10% or more shares. All business organizations must provide proof of registration with the NJ Department of Treasury. Bidders must comply with the Law Against Discrimination. Bidders on the State Treasurer's or Federal Government's list of debarred/suspended/disqualified bidders are not eligible. Required DPMC Trade Classifications are C054 Site Work and C065 Landscape Irrigation. No bid can be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. The owner reserves the right to waive irregularities or reject bids for non-compliance with requirements. Award will be to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. No bid is considered accepted until adoption of a formal resolution by the Board of Education.
