Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Marietta, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work involves installation of a new five million-gallon (MG) prestressed concrete tank (Pine Mountain Tank #1), piping, valves, appropriate SCADA equipment, electrical service and connections, tank mixing, and all necessary appurtenances for completion of the work, as well as demolition of the existing steel 4.3 MG Pine Mountain Tank #1. Instructions to bidders specify that bids must be submitted on the provided bid form, without any interlineations, additions, or deletions. Bids must include a bid bond or equivalent security of five percent (5%) of the total contract amount and a notarized non-collusion affidavit. Out-of-state entities must present authority to conduct business in Georgia. Bidders must be licensed Utility Contractors in Georgia at the time of bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds and provide a required oath. Bids remain subject to acceptance for sixty days after the opening, but may be released earlier at the owner's discretion. The owner reserves the right to reject all bids, waive informalities, and re-advertise if necessary.
