Description

Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Yonkers, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.

Replacement of a bridge on Mile Square Road (SIN 09-070-085, BIN 3317130), approximately 750' north of Main Street Fishers, in the Town of Mendon. The existing precast bridge will be replaced with a new, 3-sided precast structure founded on H-piles. Additional work includes guiderail replacement, grading and roadway approach reconstruction. An off-site detour will be utilized for the duration of construction. The Director of the Monroe County Department of Transportation shall make the final interpretations of any irregularities, ambiguities or questions arising out of these Specifications and the New York State Department of Transportation Specifications used on this project.
