Renovation of a multi-residential development in Denver, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The intent of this scope of work is to request documented quotes from vendors for removing and replacing the windows at our Emerald Group Home (5265 Miller St, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). This building operates under the Wheat Ridge Regional Center and serves clientele with intellectual disabilities. The program would like to increase security and safety for staff and patients at this home and installing new laminated windows is a focal point of that process. Scope of Work Remove existing windows, frames, and all other necessary materials from home Provide and install clear laminated over clear laminated glass single hung windows, frames, and all necessary parts Window counts and sizes to be determined at Pre-Bid Walk Dispose of existing windows, frames, and all other debris Preferred window frames will be vinyl, but this can be further discussed A bid security of not less than 5% of the bid price is required when the price is estimated to be $50,000 or more. The security shall be a bond by a surety company, the equivalent in cash, or otherwise supplied in a form satisfactory for the State. Noncompliance requires the bid to be rejected as nonresponsive. Time Requirements. The vendor must be able to fabricate and install new windows by March 31, 2026.
