Last Day for Pre-Bid RFI’s & Intent to Bid form due 2:00 p.m. January 29, 2026 Board Meeting February 18, 2026 The Architect-Engineer reserves the right to issue Addenda at any time prior to the bid opening. All such addenda shall become, upon issuance, an inseparable part of the Contract Documents. Each bidder shall incorporate within his bid proposal all costs for items listed in the Addenda; and shall acknowledge receipt and the identifying number of each Addendum on the Bid Proposal. WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and generally consists of the following: 1. New construction of a one-story Pre-Engineered Metal Building structure for the Allegan County Road Commission – Shelbyville. The building will include a vehicle garage and office. Additional elements include a small fire pump building, and new siding & roofing to the existing salt barn, and a fueling station. Work includes civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical. The existing garage structure on-site will be demolished and final outstanding site work will commence once the owner has occupied the new building. 2. New Asphalt and landscaping will be throughout the site. 3. Proposed alternates include removal of select clerestory windows, reduction in HMA paving, exclusion of siding and roofing at the existing salt barn, and an alternative frontage fencing. 4. Awarded contractor will coordinate the necessary phasing with Owner immediately after award to minimize facility access disruptions as facility will need to remain accessible and open throughout the project duration. B. Type of Contract. 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.
