Reference Number 0000410122 The City of Springfield is accepting separate sealed bids from interested parties to replace the roof on the water treatment plant facility at 6213 Smith Rd., Cedar Hill, TN 37032. A pre-bid meeting will not be held for this project. Project completion date is no later than April 30, 2026. all questions, in writing, to administration@springfieldtn.gov on or before Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 4:30 p.m., local time.All questions received before the deadline will be addressed in an addendum to be issued on Friday, February 6, 2026, by 5:00 p.m., local time. The scope of work includes approximately one hundred (100) Squares of Field Membrane / ten (10) Squares of Wall and Waste Membrane. The work to be provided will include, but not be limited to: 1. Consolidate existing stone ballast, concrete pavers, and EPDM walk pads and set aside to be reinstalled. 2. Remove roofing materials from walls, curbs, and base flashings. 3. Remove existing EPDM layer of the field. 4. Clear debris from existing polyiso layer of the field. 5. Loose lay one (1) layer of fanfold recover board over the existing insulation. 6. Loose lay new 60 Mil EPDM membrane over newly installed coverboard. 7. Fully adhere 60 Mil EPDM membrane up curbs & walls and terminate under new skirt metal, coping, or counterflashing, where applicable. 8. Properly flash around all interior walls, A/C curbs, exhaust vents, and roof penetrations. 9. Reinstall stone ballast and concrete pavers to previous locations. 10. Clean work area daily and haul away all roofing debris at end of project. 11. Provide a minimum of a five (5) year standard workmanship warranty for work performed. 12. Provide a minimum of a twenty (20) year manufacturer's warranty for products provided by manufacturer.
