Project Identification: Germantown 2024 CIP Phase 3 - Site Work. Project includes sitework such as paving, concrete sidewalks, and drainage structures. Bids will be received for the site construction contract; general construction, mechanical construction, plumbing construction, and electrical construction have previously been awarded. Bids must be prepared as specified in the Instructions to Bidders and enclosed in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the bidder and the title of the work. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount must be submitted with each bid. Bidders must be properly licensed for their trades and be able to obtain required insurance and bonds. Attention is called to the Owner's sales tax exemption, employment conditions, and the minimum wage rates. Bidders will submit certificates of registration with the NYS DOL with their bid. The Bidding Documents contain detailed requirements for qualification including bonding and insurance, financial statements, bank references, lists of lawsuits or proceedings, statement of surety's intent to issue Performance and Payment Bonds, and a description of similar projects completed by the Bidder.
