Furnishes all labor, materials, and equipment to replace Underground Storage Tanks (USTs) 1, 2, 3, 4, and 8 and Aboveground Storage Tanks (ASTs) 4 and 5, along with the associated below-grade interconnected piping systems for USTs 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, and 10 on the Fargo VA campus. Work includes designing and installing flexible spill containment liners, tertiary containment barriers, encasement barriers, waterproof manway covers, and Auto Tank Gauges with integrated monitoring and reporting capabilities. Environmental assessments, soil boring tests, and geotechnical drilling are required at four VA site locations. All work must comply with physical security and resiliency standards, including intrusion and blast protection. A detailed phasing plan shall be developed and executed to maintain zero downtime for existing backup generators through the use of temporary power solutions. Additional tasks include designing cathodic protection systems, providing semi-automatic pump clarification systems, and establishing control points for future construction activities. The period of performance is 540 days. Description of Work: Work shall include, but shall not be limited to, providing all labor, materials, equipment, etc. necessary to complete Fargo VA Health Care System project 437-24-101, Replace UST's & Leak Detection in accordance with this Scope of Work. The UST's support Critical Facilities and will follow requirements for Critical facilities in accordance with the Physical Security and Resiliency Design Manual (PSRDM), October 1, 2020, Revised 05-01-2024, the contract documents, all applicable federal, state and local codes as well as the NFPA requirements. Location: Fargo VA Health Care System, 2101 Elm Street North, Fargo, ND 58102. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000.
