All work under this Contract shall be done in conformance with the 2025 Standard Specifications for Highways and Bridges, the Construction Standard Details in effect as of March 12, 2025, the 1990 Standard Drawings for Signs and Supports; the 2015 Overhead Signal Structure and Foundation Standard Drawings, the 2009 Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) with Revisions 1, 2, and 3 and the November 2022 Massachusetts Amendments to the MUTCD; the 1968 Standard Drawings for Traffic Signals and Highway Lighting; The American Standard for Nursery Stock; the Plans and these Special Provisions. The work under this Contract consists of supplying, constructing, and installing traffic signal related items at various signalized locations as directed by the Engineer. Ancillary items of work such as wheelchair ramp construction, curb resetting, sidewalk replacement, pavement patching and resurfacing may also be included.
