Full System Tracker Restoration & BOS (Balance of System) Remediation for a 1 MW existing solar facility. Restoration includes two full gear box replacement and drive line adjustments; weld repair to one-hundred fifty existing brackets and twenty custom module attachment brackets; forty-eight Sunwatts Maxeon 425-watt replacement modules; ten replacement torque tubes with custom brackets and replacement dampers, retrofit of backplate mounting and AC/DC cable entry with appropriate AC accessories (fuses, breaker, wiring, mounting bracket, evo2 branch circuits, split loom); retrofit of six TMAC controls, removal and transportation of existing weather station and inclinometer; new wire including home runs for missing inverter and connectors; one-hundred male and one-hundred female connectors to avoid arc faults; site-wide tracker greasing and commissioning; and all other appurtenances noted in the detailed specifications. Bids must be submitted via the Project's Portal in OpenGov, where plans and specifications may also be obtained. The contractor will be required to provide a Contract Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent of the aggregate amount of the bid, and certificates of insurance as required by the specifications. Prevailing wages must be paid. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered and in good standing with the California Department of Industrial Relations. Payments will be made in accordance with the specifications, based on itemized estimates approved by the General Manager, not more often than once every thirty days, and final payment will be made thirty-five days after filing the Notice of Completion. Bid security of ten percent of the bid is required. Bidders must comply with President's Executive Order No. 11246 (Equal Employment Opportunity), California Labor Code requirements, and submit certified payroll records electronically. The contractor must hold and maintain a certified Electrical Contractor License (C-10) and Solar Contractor License (C-46), and staff must maintain NFPA70E and OSHA 30 Certifications. A single contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
