Renovation of a transportation facility in New York, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a runway / taxiway.

MTA Construction & Development is seeking to retain the services of a consultant to provide preliminary design and planning services for climate resilience and infrastructure improvements on the Metro-North Railroad’s Hudson Line. The scope includes two concurrent tasks. Task A comprises preliminary engineering, bridging documents, and procurement of a design-build contract for flood mitigations and improvements on Hudson Line infrastructure between Mileposts 11.0 to 19.0. Task B comprises a study to develop guidance for future design of infrastructure projects and climate resilience improvements on the Hudson Line from Milepost 6.0 to 75.76, known as the Climate Resilience Blueprint. To participate, vendors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM), and must have an MTA Bidder/Supplier Number by registering on the MTA Vendor Portal. Documents for the solicitation may be obtained by submitting a Document Order Form and any additional required forms by email. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) goal is 6.00%, Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) goal is 15.00%, and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) goal is 15.00%. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
