Renovation of an educational facility in Thornton, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of March 11, 2026, project is awarded to the following contractors: 1. Crowther Roofing – $482,000.00 2. Ottobaum - $61,540.00 Roofing And Tuckpointing Improvements At Wolcott School - Roofing Sealed bids will be received from contractors for Roofing and Tuckpointing Improvements at Wolcott School in the following bid packages: #1-Roofing; #2 - Tuckpointing. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided and must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check made payable to the Owner in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the proposal. All laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work on this Project must be paid not less than the prevailing rates of hourly wages as established by the Illinois Department of Labor and comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Illinois Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act. The successful bidder will be required to file a performance and payment bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract. The contractor must also furnish sufficient insurance or guaranty of indemnity to School District 154 against any and all claims arising for damages to persons or property due to negligence during construction and until final acceptance by School District 154. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or bids.
