Question Deadline 02/05/2026 at 12:00 PM ET SCOPE OF SERVICE The Detroit Public Schools is seeking a Supplier to provide all materials, equipment, labor and supervision to furnish and install various heights of chain link fencing; to remove and dispose existing fencing; and to furnish and install bumper blocks, gates, remotes and gate openers at parking lots at selected schools within the District. 1. Supplier shall visually inspect the select areas and locations to receive fencing installations and verify all field conditions. 2. Supplier shall install fencing in accordance with the included specifications at all selected locations; and per the directives listed below: Prior to all fencing activities, Supplier shall meet with DPSCD Facilities Department representative to determine need: amount, fencing type(s), access, hours of operation and any construction related concerns.DPSCD Facilities Department representative, if found necessary, will provide graphic drawings and written directives for the Supplier to follow prior to the fencing installation. 3. Supplier is responsible for all damage to any materials, play equipment, turf, existing fencing or any other site or building element resulting from the fencing installation. Suppler shall contact MISS DIG and verify all underground or other utilities in the project area. 4. Supplier is accountable for installing various types of fencing as per directions, drawings and specifications. Supplier to furnish and install gate opener (per specifications), radio receiver, photo eye, and all other mechanisms required for installation of cantilevered gates. Supplier shall trench to building and install wiring, conduit, etc. (as necessary) to allow for complete operation of automatic cantilevered gates as shown on drawings.
