The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario invites qualified contractors to submit quotations for the Stage Fire Curtain Project and associated work at St. Joseph's Catholic Secondary School, 1500 Cumberland Street, Cornwall, Ontario. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Remove the existing stage fire curtains and provide all labour, materials and equipment necessary to supply and install the fire curtains, guide loop, and motor controllers. Supply communications cable to be connected to motor controller at top of fire curtain located on same side as main fire alarm interface controller located backstage. Provision of mechanical training on fire curtain repair and maintenance to the CDSBEO Contractor of choice. Provision of electrical training to CDSBEO techs of choice on electrical maintenance and repair of fire curtain controllers and motor. These Techs/Contractors will assume ongoing responsibilities for the system moving forward. The Manufacture will provide technical support to both companies going forward as well). Curtain colour selection to be finalized with the successful contractor (please provide available colour charts with your submission). Submission of all required electrical specifications and shop drawings must be provided upon project completion. The stage at St. Joseph's Catholic Secondary School, located at 1500 Cumberland Street, Cornwall, Ontario, has an approximate width of 23,164mm with an approximate height of 7,300mm. This project is subject to funding. Bids will only be accepted from contractors who attend the mandatory site meeting. Sub-contractor attendance is not required and will not be considered for attendance purposes to satisfy bid compliance.
