2026-17 Road Paving Services The Polk County Commissioners Court is requesting sealed proposals for road paving services for various sections of road in Road & Bridge Precinct 3. Eligible proposals must be sealed, identified on the exterior of the envelope as 'Bid #2026-17' and submitted to the designated Purchasing/Procurement Coordinator. No facsimile transmittal of proposals will be accepted. Proposals will be opened and publicly read in the Polk County Purchasing Office at the specified date and time. A copy of the bid packet may be obtained from the Polk County Purchasing Office or from the County's website. Proposals will be reviewed and considered by the Commissioners Court, which reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to accept the proposal deemed to serve the best interest of the County and to negotiate any final contract resulting from a successful proposal. A mandatory in-person pre-bid meeting will be held at the Precinct 3 Road and Bridge office in Corrigan, Texas, to discuss specific roads and additional information. Bids will not be accepted from any contractor not in attendance at this meeting. This is the only pre-bid meeting to be held. Provide competitive pricing for providing materials, labor and equipment necessary to quick set oil sand overlay 2” thick on approximately 41,500 sq. yards of various roads in Precinct 3, to include mobilization.
