Renovation of a water / sewer project in Olathe, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This project includes the replacement of the membrane filtration modules that were installed in 2015. These modules produce up to 13 million gallons per day of finished water and have a design life of approximately 10 years. This project will review and pilot test alternative membrane technologies that may be retrofit into the existing system. This project will also include valve replacement and minor electrical updates The project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of January 28, 2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
