Scope of Work University Health seeks qualified firms to provide Construction Management Services for the implementation of the design and construction projects for the recently purchased Babcock Specialty Hospital Phase 1 that generally includes all work required to prepare for the minor construction and repairs for the reopening of the hospital. The intent is to engage a qualified Construction Manager-at-Risk (CMR) Firms, to work under the direction of the UH Vice President of Planning, Design and Construction and the to-be-selected Project Management through the completion of the Program. UH Vice President of Planning, Design and Construction is responsible for the overall management of the Program, including contract administration, coordination with UH team members, community outreach/education, communication with stakeholders, etc. The successful CMRs will work with UH staff and the Project Manager to refine and enhance the plan for prosecution of the design, preconstruction, procurement, construction and activation processes that will at a minimum, consider all aspects of the Hospital construction through completion.
