Sealed bids are solicited for THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI NW MECHANICAL PLANT (ELECTRICAL PHASE II) 13 KV ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION IMPROVEMENTS - PART B UM #22-065/IHL #407.008.2 BID FILE #1256. Bids must be prepared in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders in the project manual. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by the architect with a bid bond or certified check for at least five percent (5%) of the base bid. The bid envelope must be sealed and display the Contractor's current Certificate of Responsibility Number and License Number, except when the bid is under $50,000.00, in which case a statement to that effect must appear on the exterior. Bids may be submitted electronically as instructed. The University reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all bids. Questions should be directed to the Department of Facilities Planning. Should a Bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from the plans and specifications, or be in doubt as to their meaning, the Bidder should immediately notify the Department of Facilities Planning in writing. The Department of Facilities Planning Department will send written instruction(s) or interpretation(s) to all known holders of the documents.
