Furnishing all tools, materials, labor, and performing the necessary work required to install Directional Bores in various diameters and lengths along with all other items and appurtenances as necessary for a complete installation in accordance with the specifications. The work to be performed under this contract as outlined and contained in the Contract Documents shall include furnishing all materials, labor, supplies, and all other related items necessary to satisfactorily complete the various portions of the work indicated herein, in accordance with the Plans, and the latest editions of the "Specification Requirements for the Construction of Water and Sewer Facilities, Springdale Water Utilities, Springdale, Arkansas," and these Detailed Specifications. The general scope of work can potentially include, but is not limited to, installing directional bores in various diameters and lengths along with all other items and appurtenances as necessary for a complete installation in accordance with the specifications, calling locates, coordinating bore locations with Owner, site work, providing water for boring and testing, dewatering with silt removal, all necessary bypass pumping, and all other items of work as set out in the plans and specifications Bidding security in the form of a bid bond, cash, a cashier's check, or certified check payable to the Springdale Water and Sewer Commission, in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the total bid shall be furnished by each bidder. The Water and Sewer Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the proposal deemed to be in the best interests of the Commission. The Commission further reserves the right to withhold the awarding of the contract for a period not to exceed 60 days after the receipt of bids.
