Renovation of an educational facility in Oxford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Board is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to replace the existing fire alarm system at Quaker Farms School (30 Great Oak Road, Oxford, CT), including the addition of a Voice Evacuation System as described in Appendix A. The bid price must include all materials, labor, and permit fees. Bidders are to provide a Construction Manager at Risk Contract that will complete the specified scope, which includes installation of the following main components: FireLite ES1000X Addressable Fire Alarm Control/Communicator (located in Main Office), FireLite Trim Ring for control panel, FireLite BB-55F Battery Box, FireLite HPF-PS6 Remote Power Supply, FireLite Ann80 Remote Annunciator, FireLite LED Driver Module, FireLite ECC50/100 Emergency Command Center 50watt (located in main office), FireLite ECC-50DA Audio Amplifier Module 25vrms, FireLite Circuit Expander Module, and six FireLite Remote Microphone Paging Units distributed to the principal's office, library office, room 207 office, room 302 classroom, and room 421 classroom.
