Renovation of a medical facility in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Question Deadline 02/12/2026 Bidders must so act to assure that questions reach the A/E at least six (6) days prior to the time set for the receipt of bids to allow a sufficient time for an addendum to reach all bidders before the submission of their bids. The project consists of the removal and replacement of retherm units and the removal and replacement of refrigeration condensing units where indicated. The successful bidder must furnish and install the equipment as required, including docking stations and associated equipment for complete operations. The time for Substantial Completion shall be 365 consecutive calendar days from the date of commencement of the work as specified in the Notice to Proceed. Final Completion shall be within 30 days after the date of Substantial Completion. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the DBHDS office of Environment of Care, 1220 Bank Street, Richmond, VA, at 10:00 a.m., local prevailing time, on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Plan Holders list not maintained. Site visits have been scheduled as follows. These are the only dates available for site visits. No other visits are permitted. Friday, 2/6/2026: Piedmont Geriatric Hospital at 9:30am; Monday, 2/9/2026: Western State Hospital at 9:30am followed by CCCA (adjacent to WSH); and Tuesday 2/10/2026: SEVTC at 9:30am, followed by ESH at 1:30pm. Questions must be received by end of business on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
