Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Tanglewilde, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
**As of March 11, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The project consists of the construction of a new PFAS water treatment system for the Tanglewilde 600 Water System. This includes the construction of a pre-engineered metal building, installation of owner-furnished granular activated carbon (GAC) pressure vessels and media, replacement of three groundwater well pumps, and all other appurtenances to complete the scope of work. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or bank cashier's check for 5 percent of the bid amount, payable to Thurston PUD, or a bid bond executed by a licensed bonding company. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security, data required by the bidding document, or bids that are incomplete or irregular. All applicants, including subcontractors, must have an active Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number. The District is an equal opportunity employer and encourages Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (Small, Minority- and Women-Owned Businesses) to submit bids. All work is subject to the higher of the state prevailing wage or federal rates, and DWSRF requirements and provisions must be met by contractors and subcontractors.
