Project Description: The project includes interior and exterior work. Exterior work includes masonry cleaning; tuckpointing; replacement of damaged bricks; removal and installation of seal-ant; installation of new flashings; installation of new steel lintels, replacing existing wood soffits, replacing window transom panels, concrete repair, stone repair, and painting. Interi-or work includes masonry cleaning, tuckpointing, window head removal and re-pair, plaster ceiling repair, concrete foundation wall re-pair, and painting Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Bids will be received for the following work: General Contract (all trades). The project cost range is anticipated to be $450,000 - $500,000. Bids are to be prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by the Owner. A bid bond, bank draft, or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid proposal must accompany each bid as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will furnish satisfactory, execute the Contract and proceed with the Work. No Bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of 45 days after the date of opening thereof. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities and irregularities in the bidding, and to accept the bids deemed most favorable to their interest, after all bids have been examined and evaluated.
