Scope of work includes water, sanitary sewer, and drainage facilities, as well as paving and appurtenances for Cameron Cove Section 2 for Harris-Waller Counties Municipal Utility District No. 12, Harris-Waller County, Texas. Instructions to bidders include: - Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier’s check in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total bid amount, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the contract and execute the bonds and provide the required insurance certificates and bonds within seven (7) days after receipt of contract documents. - If a certified or cashier’s check is provided, the successful bidder must deliver the original check within one (1) business day of the bid opening. - Bidding documents may be examined at LJA Engineering, Inc., AGC of Texas, ConstructConnect, and Amtek, or obtained upon payment of a non-refundable fee plus delivery costs. - Electronic bids and bid securities must comply with Owner’s electronic bidding rules and must be submitted through the specified website. - Bidders must register and obtain bidding documents to submit an electronic bid. - The owner may accept, execute, or agree to contract documents through electronic signatures as defined by Owner’s rules. - The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive defects or irregularities in the bidding process, except for the time of bid submission. - The successful bidder will be the responsible bidder deemed most advantageous to the district and resulting in the best and most economical project completion.
