**As of March 9, 2026, this project has been awarded.** Sealed bids will be received for the Board Office Renovation Project. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to Board of Education of the Valley View Local School District, ATTN: Valorie Hill, Treasurer, 59 Peffley Street, Germantown, Ohio 45327, and plainly marked on the outside 'Valley View LSD Board Office Renovation Project Bid.' All bids must include a Bid Guaranty as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 60 days after the opening. The Board reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and conduct necessary investigations to determine bidder responsibility. The Project is the Board Office Renovation Project (the Project). The Project and Work for the Project consists of renovating approximately 2,595 SF of existing old high school office spance into new Board of Education office space. The Renovations are anticipated to include new partitions, doors, finishes, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Design Professional. There is an operational Pre-School program and YMCA before and after school program that will continue to operate during construction. Contractors will be limited in working hours inside the building. Contractors may work the hours of Monday through Friday 6am-6pm. Excessively odorous and noisy work will need to be coordinated with Owner and must occur before 8:45am. Work that affects building power or other systems shall be coordinated with Owner minimum 14 calendar days prior to work starting. Power outages that would affect any other spaces within the building will need to occur after hours and be coordinated with Owner. Contractor shall pay all aid-to-construction costs associated with the project. The Work consists of renovation of a portion of the old Valley View High School building in Germantown, Ohio. The renovated space will become the new offices for the school district’s Board of Education. Staff and their furnishings will be removed from the area of work before work begins.
