Southern Mono Healthcare District ("District") is issuing a Request for Qualifications and Bid for the Mammoth Hospital North Wing Primary SCE Service Infrastructure Project. The purpose of this Request for Qualification and Request for Bid ("RFQ / RFB") is to identify qualified electrical contractors and receive bids for the SCE Primary Conduit Infrastructure project as further described below ("Project"). The contract will be between the District and awarded Bidder ("Construction Contract"). Location- 85 Sierra Park Road Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546 The new North Wing is to be served with new electrical service by Southern California Edison (SCE). This RFQ/RFQ addresses the portion of the overall project that installs pull box and conduit infrastructure so that SCE can pull conductors from the point of connection to their existing grid to the North Wing main service transformer. The scope of this portion of the project is to provide and set an intercept pull box immediately east of Thompson Way near the Mono County Civic Center. From that box furnish and install one (1) 5-inch diameter conduit to a main switch foundation provided by the successful Bidder and then extend from there to the pad for the SCE transformer. The pad will be furnished by the North Wing contractor, and the transformer will be furnished and installed by SCE. The successful Bidder will need to coordinate closely with the North Wing contractor and with SCE. The successful Bidder will be responsible to obtain the encroachment permit from the Town of Mammoth Lakes (TOML). Inspection will be provided by SCE, Mammoth Hospital and TOML. The Project is further described in the Bid Documents (EXHIBIT 1).
