New 150,816 SF, two story Middle School that consists of a series of academic houses of a six section Sixth thru Eighth Grade/ 4k through Elementary classroom spaces, as well as a competition gymnasium with 500 seats and performance, practice gym, cafeteria with cooking kitchen, library, toilets, administrative offices and mechanical rooms. The project also involves site design, to create a new parking area with new entrances, sidewalks and the addition of two age-appropriate playground areas. The building will be heated and cooled by a central heating and cooling plant (fed by a pump and reinject geothermal well field) with individual fan coil units at the rooms. The entire building will be sprinkled. The major materials on the project will include masonry block, utility brick, aluminum sills, stone panel systems and aluminum curtain wall system and storefront window system.
