Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. All work shall be coordinated through the POC to minimize operational impacts on the unit during the execution of the work. The Base Bid work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: A. Replace emergency generator battery, of the existing Kohler 100REOZJF. Battery shall be 12 volt, BCI group size 24, minimum 650 cold crank amps, maintenance free lead-calcium battery, optimum duty series, Kohler model GM106373, fully compatible with existing generator and battery charger. Connect new battery to existing generator and battery charger. B. Replace insulation blankets on muffler exhaust on the emergency generator with 3" thick Type 1 calcium silicate with rated service temperature of 1200F with a flame spread/smoke development rating of 0/0 and aluminum jacket.
