Renovation of a municipal facility in Dulles, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Proposals are requested for a Roof Replacement - Areas A, B, B1 & I project at USPS owned Dulles P&DC, 44715 Prentice Dr, Dulles, VA 20101-9998, Loudoun County. Work will be completed in accordance with the attached specifications, drawings and other solicitation documents. Proposals must be submitted through Coupa eSourcing. The estimated cost of the work is between $6,500,000.00 to $7,500,000.00, with construction completion no later than 270 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The Postal Service is more concerned with making an award at the lowest overall price than obtaining superior technical or management features, but may award to a higher priced proposal if better value is demonstrated with superior features. The Contractor must provide all material, labor, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, superintendence, temporary construction of every nature, and all other services and facilities necessary to complete the specified work, including all incidental work described in the contract documents. For purposes of this construction project, the terms "Offeror" and "Contractor" are interchangeable and refer to the party whose proposal is accepted by the Postal Service. It is the Owner's sole responsibility to clarify design and construction responsibilities among the Owner's designers, contractors and other agents. B. The scope of work is listed within Article 1.2 of this Section. C. All work shall be in accordance with applicable codes and local regulations that may apply. In case of conflict in or between the Contract Documents and a governing code or ordinance, the more stringent standard shall apply. D. In case of conflict between the Project Manual and Project Drawings, the more stringent requirement shall apply.
