Furnish all labor, materials, and insurance to perform all work required for the renovation to the 10th Floor County Commission Executive Conference Room (Project No.: CCP-013-24). The Executive Conference Room will receive new Class A wall, floor, and ceiling finishes, custom cabinetry and shelving, new lighting fixtures, and other typical conference room accessories and fixtures. Work includes demolition of existing elements and building of new features as per plans and specifications. 120 total calendar days are allowed for the Project, but on site construction is limited to 10 total, consecutive calendar days. After hours work will be required. All bids must be submitted on blank forms provided in the Specifications and in their entirety. Each proposal must be accompanied by a cashier's check drawn on an Alabama bank or a Bidder's Bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount, but not more than ten thousand ($10,000) dollars, prepared on the specified form and signed by a bonding company authorized in Alabama. A Performance Bond and a labor and materials bond, each in an amount not less than the contract price and in a form approved by the County, will be required at contract signing. A certificate of insurance coverage as provided in the specifications must be furnished at contract signing. The right is reserved to reject any and/or all bids, waive informalities, and change the amount of the Contract. Liquidated damages for non-completion within the agreed time will be assessed per contract terms. All prospective bidders must have a representative present at a Mandatory Pre-bid Conference held on site at 10:00AM CST on February 24, 2026, at the 10th floor Lobby, South Tower, Government Plaza, 205 Government Street, Mobile, Alabama. Contractors not represented at this meeting will be disqualified from bidding.
