Green Line Train Protection System 2 - Wayside Contract 1, Boston, MA. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. WORK INVOLVES THE INSTALLATION AND FIELD TESTING OF ANCHORS (ANTENNAS), POWER SUPPLY UNITS, MOUNTING BRACKETS, MESSENGER WIRE, DISCONNECT SWITCHES, TERMINATION JUNCTION BOXES, CABLE, RACEWAYS, CIRCUIT BREAKERS, ELECTRICAL PANEL MODIFICATION, AND TESTING Work consists of electrical activities work required to install the new wayside anchors (antennas) and associated power distribution for the Green Line Train Protection System. These installations will occur along the surface running portion and portal entries of the Green Line on the B, C, and E Branches. A detailed description of the work elements, elements and responsibilities is provided in Section 01010, Summary of Work. This Contract is subject to a financial assistance Contract between the MBTA and the Federal Transit Administration of U.S. Department of Transportation. FTA Participation 100% percent.
